- Pass percentage at ZPHS, Rasoolpura went up from 13% to 34% for the academic year 2006-07 and from 34% to 46% for the academic year 2007-08.
- There has been 100% continued education at ZPHS, Rasoolpura since the DnE initiative began in 2006.
Impact of Mentoring
DnE has deeply impacted the pschye of the students it served in the last 3 years. Some of the changes that were noted as a result of mentoring are as follows:
- Increased self esteem among children
- Increased awareness in children and their parents about the importance of studies and the importance of continuing education after 10th
- Awareness and knowledge in children and their parents about the academic and vocational options available to students after they complete 10th through mentoring and career counselling sessions
Impact of Tutoring
- Increased pass percentage and attendance at schools
- Enthusiasm and fun in learning: Children are really interested and are helped tremendously by attending biweekly tutoring sessions on account of the personal attention they receive and the fun they have learning with tutors.
