Our understanding of Education is more than the cliché of Literacy. While we believe that the ability to read and write is an important competence, education is meant to empower communities and transform them into knowledge societies. We lay special emphasis on life-skill enhancing initiatives to enable this transformation.
We believe a knowledge society is enabled and empowered to question the larger system and demand what is rightfully theirs. Our education initiatives are designed to cater to the entire society, unlike the norm where education is perceived as a child's domain.
Communities where we work are constantly engaged in an understanding of sustainable development, a natural consequence of which is an understanding of the role of education in shaping a child’s destiny. Parents are not only keen on sending their children to schools, but also demand better quality education for their children.
We are currently focusing on the students enrolled in government schools. We wish to improve the overall quality of education standards of these schools, through strategic interventions and collaborations with Government of Andhra Pradesh and other likeminded organizations. We wish to make the students of the Government Schools, standing examples of what education can do to a child.
