BHUMI

BHUMI has partnered with Roshan Vikas to mobilize women from Rasoolpura into Self Help Groups (SHG’s). Groups of 10-15 women save between Rs. 50-100 per month and engage in micro-thrift/micro-lending activities. Successful demonstration of thrift and credit activities for duration of six months entitles these women to larger loans from Roshan Vikas Cooperative and Banks. In the course of one year 425 women from the community have been mobilized into 33 Self Help Groups.
